Hurricane Andrew devastated Dade County in 1992. Charlie, Katrina and Wilma have proven to be equally as destructive. Andrew’s damage led Dade County to create the most stringent building codes in the U.S. to protect property from damaging gail-force winds. High velocity airborne debris can destroy windows and doors allowing destructive winds to further compromise structures by causing walls and roofs to fail. Protecting the exterior of your home or building with
Hurricane Andrew

shutters or impact rated windows and doors significantly reduces the chance of damage.
All American Supply Co manufactures doors, sidelites and transoms that meet the impact requirements and stringent building codes in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. These codes are now accepted throughout coastal Florida and are accepted in other oceanfront states including TX, MI,AL,NC, SC,NY.

We are committed to designing and manufacturing the safest doors, sidelites, and transoms in the industry utilizing the latest technologies and components available.

Hurricane Impact - No Shutter Required
All American Supply impact doors, sidelites, and transoms are tested to exceed Dade County building codes. At Hurricane Engineering and Testing, Inc. (in Miami), our products undergo rigorous air, water, and structural testing to Dade County PA 202 Protocol (TAS 201 & TAS 203). For this testing, doors and windows are impacted numerous times by a 9 pound, 8 foot long 2x4 piece of lumber, fired from a cannon at 50 feet/second. Then, the impacted door or window is subjected to 9000+ positive and negative pressure cycles at design pressure levels of ±75 PSF (140+ mph).
