Each piece of lumber is kiln dried and then slowly reacclimated to the environment for months, ensuring the best curing of the wood and maximum structural integrity.

All of our mahogany wood comes from sustained yield management forests in Bolivia. We are certified FSC, an environmentally certified Smart Wood Source and a member of the Rain Forest Alliance, a "Green" company. After being milled in Bolivia, Distinctive Doors are shipped to our manufacturing facility in Miami where all pre-hung and pre-finished units are produced.Our woodworkers have attained expertise in all phases of production and all our products conform to the requirements of contractors, architects, Florida Building Code, and other local codes.
